Introducing CG Beauty

Like so many other people, after learning about and embracing the Curly Girl Method, I want to take the same approach with my skincare and beauty products. So, I’m going to start CG Beauty on Curly Cailín. Clean Green Beauty. I’m more aware of ingredients, what they do and the damage many of them can cause. And I’ve become a much more conscious consumer, especially when it comes to my skincare.

As some of you may know, I was an award-winning bridal and beauty blogger for three years before I started this blog, Curly Cailín. I’ve had lots of requests and interest in introducing skincare and beauty content, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do! I absolutely love skincare, so I’m really excited to share my tips, tricks, reviews and recommendations with you.

Thankfully clean, green beauty is becoming more of “thing” in the beauty industry in recent years. There’s more to choose from, and less compromises to make, if you want to live a CG Beauty life. If CG Beauty hasn’t already been coined as a “term,” then I’m totally going to claim it! I’m determined to make it a “thing”, along with G.O.A.T.: Greatest Of All Time. You may have noticed it’s now a tab on my site. There you’ll find reviews of all my favourite, holy grail, cult-favourite, Greatest Of All Time products – coming soon!

What to expect

So, what to expect from CG Beauty on Curly Cailín? I’m going to share how I translate the principles of the curly girl method, and what I’ve learned. And implement them into my skincare and beauty regime. I’m in my early 30’s, so anti-ageing is something I’m paying more and more attention to. Things like retinols, vitamin c and cutting-edge technologies and home devices.

So if you’ve been wanting to know how to create a CG skincare and beauty routine, along the same principles of the Curly Girl Method, then you’re going to love this new chapter on the blog. I Got My Hair Cut!

Rather than launching straight into product reviews and recommendations, I’m going to start with the basics. Is my skin dry or dehydrated? Just like the different curl types, the different skin types too. Skincare essentials, no matter what your skin type is. And then we’ll get into some amazing CG Beauty brands and products I’ve discovered since my three years of beauty blogging. Not to mention a decade of obsessing and learning about skincare!

If there is anything you’ve been struggling with, or would like to know more about. Please drop them in the comments below. This will help me help you, and create the content you want to read. That’s always my goal, and what I love most about what I do. Helping people. It genuinely brings me so much joy! So if what I know, or have learned and experienced, can help other people figure out how to care for their curls, or their skin. Then I’m all for it!
